Wigston Congregational Church

Concert held on Saturday 16 February 2008

    A sellout concert on behalf of the churches re-furbishment fund which raised close to £1000 started with Gonna rise up singing. Unfortunately not recorded due to a malfunction of the recorder operator! when she sees this I'll be shot.

    Once again we were treated to some marvellous singing by Adam Watkiss and his sisters Sarah and Kate. The choir wasn't too bad either. 

    Peter entertained the audience in his own inimitable way which included some scary moments as he climbed in and out of the conductors rostrum.

    Ever popular the audience were invited to take part and did so with gusto in a new take on Tom Jones's Delilah.
